Transforming Uganda's Agriculture: The Journey of Discovery Group
Discovery Group Ltd was founded in 2016 with a mission to transform Uganda’s agricultural landscape by exporting high-quality agro-commodities. Initially focusing on sourcing and exporting raw agricultural products such as coffee and tea, the company quickly established itself as a trusted and reliable player in the Ugandan market.

Discovery Trading is a socially responsible company that seeks to improve the livelihoods of small farmers by providing them access to world markets. Continuous research and sourcing from farmers directly provide us with an important advantage in getting high-quality products. Our expertise is in the agro-commodity export sector, dealing in coffee, tea, sesame seeds, vanilla, bird’s eye chillies, cotton, and a variety of pulses. Recognizing the potential for adding value at the origin, Discovery Group introduced Orocafe in 2022. This new brand marked a significant shift in the company's operations, as it began processing, packaging, and selling finished coffee products directly from Uganda. By controlling the entire supply chain, from sourcing to exporting, Discovery Group ensures the highest quality standards and promotes sustainable practices.
